Leave hostel life for a 2D1N trip.
At first, we planned to go for Hanuman Gundi waterfall and Manipal only.
Leave hostel at 5.30am but Hanuman Gundi waterfall opens to public at 10am.
To spend time, we went to Thousand Pillar temple, Moodabidri which was on the way to the waterfall.
Soans Nursery was our next destination.
It is famous for it's pineapple plantation and bamboos (they have the Great Burma Bamboo!). Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to take a walk in plantation to experience the nature because have to follow the schedule to Hanuman Gundi waterfall. Will definitely go there again :D
At 10am, reached Kuremuch National Park.
Took around 15+ minutes drive further more to Hanuman Gundi Waterfall.
Entrance fee is 20rps per person.
Have to walk down from the entrance to reach the waterfall.
Nice view, water is crystal clear and icy COLD!
Had picnic there with monkeys staring at us waiting to snatch our food.
luckily the cab driver was with us.
So, after spending almost 1hour, we leave there and head to Manipal.
Raining since yesterday. Luckily, we manage to stick on most of the schedule although couldn't visit Tailin and Medan Selera during our stay due to off on public holiday.
